Looking Forward To....

I always believe that "there is no place like home". Life in Singapore is not that dull but I always have the longing to have a grand vacation in my homeland. I always miss my family and  my friends way back home. Technology cannot simply bridge the distance between us and our loved ones.

Home Sweet Home!

Happy Teacher's Day

September 5 is fast approaching. It is a day to show appreciation to all the teachers in the world.

What is the best gift to receive on a Teacher's Day?

A Fun Weekend

Last Saturday was our school's Family Day. It was exciting! Parents had a quality time enjoying with their children at Adventure Cove (Sentosa). Teachers had their share of fun, too. The water play activities were awesome. It was worth spending a weekend.
Till next time!^_^

Happy 49th Birthday, Singapore!
Play-based Curriculum

Children love to play. It is through play that they get to discover, explore and learn concepts that become more meaningful.

Should play-based curriculum be adopted among preschools in Singapore?

No Place Like Home....

No Place Like Home....

It really felt good to have a week vacation especially if you're back in the arms of your homeland. After a year of staying in a foreign land, I felt like an alien the first time I set foot on the country of my origin. On one hand, I couldn't deny the excitement I felt as days went by. Still, there's no place like home.^-^

Time Flies....

It seems only yesterday but when I looked at my old pictures, change is inevitable. It's fun to look at those old pictures. On one hand, I am in dilemma because it feels like not having enough time to do things I want in my life. Haist...............

Funny but cute....

It was raining cats and dogs yesterday. After a day's work, the kiddos went outdoor for a free play. The school ground was wet and muddy. The trip-trap of their tiny feet was all over the place. After a while of playing, a few of them started crying because mud got on their shoes. Oh, kids nowadays!  Everything outside their comfort zones becomes a big thing for them.

Sleeping Beauty or Maleficent?

After watching the movie "Maleficent", I came to a realization that indeed a coin has two sides. In a different perspective, a glass may be half empty or it may be half-full.

The above-mentioned film depicts creativity; which is a gateway to another discovery and learning. The storyline is a mere product of imagination of the author; but it offers lessons in life that makes it worth-seeing.

Just dropping by....

Wishful Thinking....

At this very moment, I cannot think of anything much better than having a grand vacation. A week or two from work is a great justice I can do to myself.

What do you think?
